Laura Ward - Food Pantry Director
Laura was born a 'Navy Brat' on Great Lakes Naval Training Center in IL. She has a brother, Ken, and moved with her family all over the world. When her father retired from the Navy she moved to Des Moines, Iowa, and then in 1983, moved to Orlando. Her career was mostly in photo labs and in sales & hospitality. After developing a disability at age 35, she stopped working and started volunteering with a friend at a food pantry, and has never tired of it! She is grateful to St. Luke's for making the food pantry ministry what it is today. "We are in a wonderful, God-loving church making my dreams come true. I feel as if I've prepared my whole life to be Food Pantry Director here. I am so blessed that St. Luke's United Methodist Church is here for me. I am a proud member." Laura is married and lives here in St. Petersburg with her dogs - Max, Marty, and Bonnie Blue.
