TreeHouse exposes all children to the love of Jesus, and gives them opportunities to develop and share their talents and abilities while learning
more about God. TreeHouse meets Wednesdays at 6:00PM, after the Wednesday Night Live supper. WNL takes place during the off-summer months
(September through May) with dinner at 5:30PM, then children's activities from 6:00 to 7:30PM.
TreeHouse is for children from kindergarten thru fifth grade. It is a special place where
children come to learn more about God, discover ways we can serve Him, and share in fellowship with friends. We have dinner, devotional message,
prayer, sing songs, work on projects, activities, and games. We meet in our very own TreeHouse room. We also have special summer events and
outings. The children helped create their own mission statement - “Our TreeHouse Mission is to welcome others and together as friends, we will
learn more about God, show him our love and be in fellowship and service to one another.”
Once a month, the TreeHouse children partake in a mission trip. We visit fire stations, nursing homes or other venues and sing songs, pass out
cards and fellowship with those around them. We also put on plays for fundraising. We follow an approved United Methodist Child Protection
Policy. All our staff and volunteers have gone through background checks, training and are available for random drug testing. We strive to
make this a safe and happy place for children of all ages. We also have a discipline policy that we follow that was created through counseling
training and input from the children.
Please contact Barb Snead or the church office for more details.
