THE COUNSELING MINISTRY
St. Luke's offers professional counseling services in conjunction with the Network of Christian Counseling Centers, Inc. The purpose of the
Counseling Ministry is to help persons deal with problems in the light of the Christian faith. The counseling service is available to both
members and nonmembers of St. Luke's. Individual counseling, growth group therapy, seminars and workshops are all offered. A fee is charged
for these services and the church can provide financial aid when necessary for a individual to obtain the help they need. No one will be
turned away for financial reasons.
While all of our ministers devote part of their time to counseling, Dr. Gloria Willcox devotes full-time to the specialized ministry of
counseling and psychotherapy. On average, Dr. Willcox sees 18-25 persons per week as individuals, couples and families during 50-minute
counseling sessions and group meetings. Dr. Willcox is licensed by the state as a Marriage and Family Therapist, is an active member
of St. Luke's, and is a member of several
professional organizations in her field. If you would like to learn more about counseling, or to arrange an appointment with Dr. Willcox, you
may call the church office. Your message will be forwarded to her and she will return your call as soon as possible.
