St. Luke's has a nursery staffed with qualified caregivers for each worship service and also some church-sponsored special events. The nursery
adheres to county licensing requirements for preschools. Parents are required to sign their children in with necessary information including
name, age, location of parent and any allergies. Parents will be assigned a beeper to carry with them in case of emergency. Infants up to 2
years old are kept in the nursery, separated from children up to 5 who play in a different room. The diaper changing table is sprayed clean
after each use, dirty diapers are disposed of nightly, cribs are cleaned after each use, and toys are cleaned with disinfectant twice monthly.
The nursery employs two paid babysitters and one substitute babysitter. The ratio of children to babysitters is usually 4-5:1. The nursery can
be provided for events by contacting the Nursery Coordinator. Visit the office or see an usher for the location of the nursery.
